It's been a busy month but here's the results. Some small errors in w
eek one have been corrected.

We used all 9 tables from Dec 1-14 at Hamburg, Germany, which was the
equivalent of sitting at one table for about 3.5 months! So it was a
good test of each method. The 'en prison' rule was active, which gave
back 1/2 of even bets when the zero came up.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER: Izak and his "FRS II, method 2", which
barely beat out Ahcoln's "New Recoup" for 1st place. FRS II only had
2 losing days, and New Recoup remarkably had none. (I am rechecking th
e New Recoup spreadsheet which Ahcoln graciously provided me, to see i
f there are any errors in it...)

Third place was JBoyd's "Even Parlay 21." Also coming out positive fo
r the two week, 28,429 spin contest were Tony's "Double Win & Out" met
hod, and JBoyd's "Even Parlay 13."

Here are the top five:

Place___Name____Method__________________________Total___Wk_1____Wk_2
1_______Izak____FRS II - 2 Dozens, method 2___________7177____3961___

4_______Tony____Double Win and Out_________________715_____-62_____77

The following did not make a net profit, but at least they did not lo

Finally, my apologies to Turbo (Dozen Eliminator), Serena (14 # group
), Ahcoln (Quarter Hit), Tater (Street Sleeper), OHPC (International M
ethod), Roulette France (Mr. Opps Tribute), JapJap (Tokyo Streets) and
Joe Daw (Joe Daw's Method), whose methods were either too complex for
me to program, or I didn't get them finished yet. Perhaps next contes
t? I am working on Turbo's and Serena's, but may just put them in the
next contest.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll have more stats later, including a more full description of the
methods that came out positive.

I am also working on the "consolation prize" for the method that gain
ed the "most per unit bet." It will be one of the top five.

Thanks to all who entered. If you think I calculated your method wron
gly, send me your corrections or suggestions or questions.

It was fun, let's do it again next year.

Many thanks, JB. You are welcome to post the two win and out method. The casino pretend method which did well in the first week and then busted is original but the two win and out method is Big Al's 50 year approch that I recieved from the originator of the method and was put out by socalgaming which is where I got it.It is in the craps forum titled"Does this look familar" by redhunter if people want to see it.

Happy Holidays to all

Tony

I promised an evaluation of each positive net method, so I'll start with the 5th place finisher and work up.

5_______JBoyd___Even Parlay13_____________________424_______2_____422

Winning 424 units is not too impressive for 28429 spins, but at least it was positive!

Description of method:
The Even Parlay method bets on Red or Black or Odd or Even or High or Low using a 13 level progression: 1,2,2,3,4,5,7,9,12,16,22,29,39.

After any loss you increase your bet to the next level. If you lose the last level of 39, you reset to level one, taking your loss of 151 units.

After a win, you "let it ride," ie, you leave your bet and its winnings for the next bet. If that bet wins, you take your winnings (giving you a 3-5 unit profit on that session) and reset to level one. If that bet loses, you treat it as a normal loss, and advance to the next level in the progression.

You have a 97% chance of winning a session, only a 3% chance of busting. In the contest, this method only generated a unit of gain every 67 bets, which is not that good. (By contrast, the winning method only took a little under 4 spins to gain a unit of profit.)

Some more stats for the so inclined:

Tot Bets: 28,429
Tot Amt Bet: 162,756
Ave/bet: 5.725 units
Net: +424
Return/unit: 0.00261
Bets/1 unit return: 67.05
Bets/Bust: 235
Sessions/Bust: 37.9
Amt Lost/Bust: 151

Best Daily High: 909 (for 6-9 tables)
Lowest Daily High: 16
Ave Daily High: 413

Worst Daily Low: -1289 (for 6-9 tables)
Best Daily Low: -4
Ave Daily Low: -372

What this means is that, using this method, you can expect a bust about every 235 bets, which loses 151 units. In the contest, this came out to a bust every 38 sessions, which beat the expected figure of a bust every 33.5 sessions. That's why it showed a profit.

An average session lasted 6.25 spins, and gained about 4.11 units. The method gains from 3-5 units per session win.

Since this method busts about once per table per day, your bankroll would be 151 units to cover one bust, or 302 units to cover two busts. If you win about 38 sessions before you bust, you are in the clear!

I would recommend using this method on any even chance, and quitting when you have won 20 sessions, which should gain you about 80 units profit. Good luck!

I will have a discussion of the 4th place winner next post.

Have a great Christmas season, all! Remember, the spirit of Christmas is to give sacrificially with no thought of getting back. I'm glad to have many in my life who invest in me that way, and One in particular!

JB

I am new to this site. How does one get a copy of the systems. I am especially interested in New Recoup. Are the developers selling the systems or what?

Hi Ahcoln,

Thanks for your help in providing JBoyd333 the spreadsheet for my 14-number groups testing earlier......I am dying to see the result in this contest if possible......

Oh, my betting methods are always hit and run methods.....which means when we goal the 60 units, this gaming session is over.....

As for this contest, when I goal 60 units in one gaming session, I will not quit yet.....I will continue to bet until I hit my first lost which is the 4-chips bet.....at the spin of my 4-chip bet, win or lose, this gaming session is over.....

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!

Serena

JB, any system that is ahead, even 1 unit, after that many spins is a GOOD system. After that many spins the negativity should kill any method so if ahead , even a small amount, should not be overlooked.Good Job, and happy holidays to you and all.

No, it is not a "good" system if ahead by 1 unit after that many spins, sorry I'm a realist. Sure, maybe the negativity should take affect but I can't pay the bills being ahead 1 unit after hundreds or thousands of spins (unless 1 unit equals $100,000 lol ). I say good job not losing, BUT knock, knock-- the rent is due !! Ken

Risk vs reward--Bankroll needed--NET profit, not gross--Divide into number of hours worked-- "You" define what an acceptable hourly profit is. Ken PS-- Merry Christmas to everyone !!

You mean a system that is +$10.00 after 1 million spins isn't a winner ?
lol j/k

Some old, old man sitting next to you at the table...
"I've been playin' this here roo-lett since 1937 youngster !!"

Wow ! How are you doing sir ?

"I'm up $15.00 ! this system is foolproof"

(walk away slowly, laugh once outside) lol

I will tell you once again that testing for a million spins is a waste of time and does not prove anything.

The thought is I will let the computer run it thru a million spins and if at the end I am ahead I have a winning system. Seems that way but not true. It is simple to understand.

First of all you can't stay at a table for a million spins so that is out right? Now, you start the spins and let's say at spin 100 you are up 2 and then you go back and forth a little for 5000 more spins, then you go $214,000 in the hole at spin number 432,890, then you come back at spin # 516,236 and thenget ahead $12,957. Then you drop off again at spin #876,287 to $54,862. Then come back and at the end if the one millionth spins you are 1 ahead or 10 ahead or 100 ahead. Can you play this sorta game?

So, if you buy a system that has a computer readout that says it won after a million spins would you buy it and would you win?

Spike has the best solution and only solution to beat the game. Beat the odds by playing a few and going away. money may not be as big but it is a profit and the method is realistic. You can do alot of hit and runs but never can do a million spins.
